Comprehensive exams are performed during your initial dental visit and at following check-up exams. Comprehensive exams include digital x-ray, which help us detect potential decay, bone loss, tumors, cavities, cysts and numerous other dental situations. X-rays can also help us map tooth and root positions, and it allows us to directly communicate about your dental health.
We’ll also check for signs of oral cancer in your mouth, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums, and we’ll check your gums and bone around your teeth for signs of periodontal diseases or tooth decay. Our comprehensive exams focus on educating you so we can work together to build a lifetime of good dental and oral hygiene.
